SSG Series Firewall & VPN Appliances

The SSGs offer all-in-one Unified Threat Management plus advanced routing capabilities, in sizes from small (the 5) to large (the 500 series). Firewall and site-to-site VPN are built-in. Options include anti-virus, anti-spam, deep inspection, and Web filtering.

Secure Access (SA) SSL VPN

The Secure Access products offer industry-leading SSL VPN capabilities. Secure Access allows your users to securely connect to your network using their browser's SSL encryption. Secure Access is the only SSL VPN solution that offers Secure Meeting functionality. Some of our customers are buying these products just to get Secure Meeting, which is an option available on the Secure Access 2000 and higher.

Beginning in May, 2008 with the 6.1 release, some extra-cost features are now free with your user licenses on all models except the SA 700 (which does not support those features). The user licenses now include the Secure Application Manager and Network Connect (SAM NC) and the Advanced feature set. As of V6.1 these features, previously an extra charge, are included at no cost, making Juniper Secure Access an even better value.

Juniper support options

For an explanation of Juniper support options, please refer to the chart below. All Juniper appliances include 90 days of software/firmware updates, 12 months email support and 12 months warranty. Telephone support and onsite support are available separately.

Recommended support options

Juniper Core Plus support includes return-to-factory warranty. However, you must return your appliance to Juniper before Juniper ships a replacement, which can take up to 10 days. We recommend Next Business Day support - if you have a problem Juniper will ship a replacement unit overnight delivery before you send back your appliance, so you're never without a box.

Education Pricing

With Juniper deal approval we can provide additional discounts for appliances and licenses for educational entities. Juniper defines education users as "K-14, higher education colleges and universities and other non-profit school end-user customers." Education pricing is not shown on the site. Please call for a quote and allow additional processing time for Juniper deal approval.

Juniper Shipping, Delivery and Tax

• Most Juniper firewall and VPN appliances are in stock and available for immediate shipment. IDPs are delivered in one to two weeks. Software licenses are ordered the next business day. Juniper takes about a week to process support orders.
• Juniper items are non-refundable. Juniper will replace defective items that are under warranty.
• Our standard shipping and processing fee is $20 per order.
• Our standard shipping method for U.S. orders is 3rd business day. This means that once the package is shipped, it will arrive within 3 business days. This does not guarantee that the package will arrive 3 days after you order it. We also offer faster shipping options.
• We do not charge sales tax unless the order is shipped to Georgia, Kentucky, Tennessee, or Washington, D.C.
